Thank you sir, you've been a big help.
It is a nice old car pretty much everywhere you look, until you raise the hood. Working on that as we speak.
It feels like it has a stout clutch in it.
Sounds good out the back, sounds like it's hitting on all of them.
Pulling a draw on that crankcase helped it a lot,

If that's an original 4 spd car you lucked out in my opinion. Not that many stick 60 Pontiacs made and even fewer 4 spd cars. I'm jealous! Keep the posts coming. Thx for posting the pics btw.

The HEI will not fit, it hits the rear carb and is really ugly looking.

I'll get it backed out here in the next day or two and take some better pictures of it.
Tranny feels nice and tight too. It didn't have a boot on the shifter. Going to research that and see what kind needs to be on it.

I have a restored 1960 road draft tube and filter if interested. I put a PCV in mine.

The 3-on the tree were fairly common. I know of a few. This is a interesting document that I have.

This car was just sold at the Leake auction correct? I had some interest in it myself but I couldn't find out if it was a factory 4 speed car or not. Like previously mentioned there were only 722 built.

It should have a extension panel like this and use a neutral safety bypass as shown here.
