It would be in Divorce Court for most of us if our car was parked in motel lots as often as that one.

I don't think this is a real car. It could be a concept pre-production car, but real '53 Skylarks have the same tail lights and rear fenders as the rest of the '53 line. I wish my parents would have bought one of these in '53. I was too young to influence the choice. They went for a '53 Lincoln Capri hardtop. It did handle better than a lot of the competition, think Mexican Road Race Lincolns.

 

I am not a big fan of '57 Chevys. The '57 Pontiac was better looking and a better overall choice I think.

 

I don't believe its a picture of a real car, or even a concept, altho I do really like it !!!
sits way low, and lots of changes. Must be a real bitch with NO seat for back support.
