Event Coverage Trinity Lutheran Church Car Show.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by ct1932ford, Jun 8, 2019.

  1. Went to a local annual car show at Trinity Lutheran Church in New Milford CT. last night. I did meet up with an old friend and enjoyed talking with him for much of the time there. But I must say most of the cars that show up to these shows make me want to leave early. Lots of new stuff and people that haven't a clue what I am driving. Here are some photos, many of which were at the cruise night I went to the other night and posted. Sorry to complain, I know some shows like SilverCity The Rumblers, White Wall Rama are always good and HAMB friendly. I guess I am becoming a Traditional Snob! Oh, the homemade strawberry shortcake almost made everything all right. ;)

  3. Did my best to shoot around most of the new stuff. I had to take the streetrods or I would not have had much.

  5. Don't get me wrong, I can and do appreciate the workmanship in many of these cars.

Yep. Even though I don't particularly care for Cragars that car screams for them.

You should keep in touch with Mark, Ted. After being out of action for awhile he's looking for every show that he can go to as a catch-up.

BTW the green 5 window coupe with the louvered trunk lid, what body is that?

  17. Peter, I am working on a new , bigger shop/business and it has me pretty focused. looks like I didn't miss much.
that coupe is a combo of a 32 cowl/doors and 33 back half. he wanted a 32 but they are so expensive. he finished this cheap project that another guy started.

  18. I know the owner well. He also has a 40 Pickup. That Falcon is so nice. Pictures don't do it justice.

  21. That recreation is pretty nice. Only thing that I saw wrong were the disc brakes up front.

A weird combo of bodies here , the louvers and odd rear window make it look like a rear engined something or other. Though we know its not. Still he is out driving it and having fun.
