With the utmost care, I ground the first 454 stroker's block and heads. Lots of work for something hardly visible in a Tri 5.
After its demise, the new one got dressed in basic black.

 

now appearing in the back seat of my 65 Corvair...…...the piece of metal running across above the engine is where the rear window sits. The rubber seal is for the Lexan engine cover

After I sold my 69 last week , this is the first time in 40 years I don't have an orange motor
