    What’s up with that ‘32 Deluxe coupe parked on Ingraham St? One tail lamp and the license plate mounted in the center under the deck lid and the headlights look like they are on a dropped bar too. Cleaned up just enough to be different and cool. :cool:

    I drove a Road Striper for Missouri for about 22 years. Trust me not all our roads are straight here in the Ozarks ! Even with the modern shorter versions there were some hard curves to duplicate. Probably what saved these old boys was that most of the curvy backroads didn't get a stripe. We had that picture hanging in our office.

    I think back then it was more a sense of pride to keep things a certain way not to mention how the neighbours would look at you or say about you. Just like on Leave it to Beaver when Wally brings his first car home.
