  1. … Tutorial on how to really use a electrical multi-meter? Sure, most guys can read one for continuity or voltage, but do all of you know how to track down poor connections or check for excessive voltage drop? Do you know what the various scale options on the meter mean? A meter can tell you a lot of things, if you know how to use it.

I've been using one for years - most likely incorrectly. I'm in!

Yeah, I think that's a great idea. I've thought of doing one myself to fill a void, but I'm really not the right one to do it. But this is right up your alley, do it!

I took an Automotive Electrical course at community college several years ago. The instructor could diagnose just about any problem on a a car with a series of tests on his multimeter, no lie.

I've been using multi-meters for at least 60 years, some of them professionally. Used one yesterday to diagnose a problem

    Refresher class? Yes please

I´m all ears. I´ve been using one for years and I can find out what my generator is putting out voltage wise... but anything else is a wild guesstimate.

I'll do this in another post with a more explanatory title... Give me a while, I've got some business to take care of first.
