    Lucky Find:
    Stow away in dry storage
    32 3w...from 1955.
I can say it's the luckiest; straight, cool old (barn find) Hot Rod I'll ever come across in Kansas.
I'm going to try to do it justice.

Warning: only my 2nd build thread, & the first one is ongoing 6 years for the 30 Nailhead Model A...so don't hold your breath for updates. I'm pretty slow & need lots of help from family (dad & brother) plus a few experts, as time & $ allows.

    Nice car! I'm envious...

Can't wait to see you get it put back together.

Good for you! Just find recently and purchase or knew about and had to convince someone to be able to buy it? Always love the story behind the purchase.

I don't know how you could let that set. I wouldn't be able to sleep, eat or concentrate at work. Hell, it's probably a good thing I don't find super cool cars like that, I'd probably end up homeless!! Nice score!!!

Its in Salina now, but don't think it ever resided there. I understand it was in storage twice as long as it ever was on the road. The Kansas lic tag denoted a county far from here. I have seen this in person, and yes you need to be wearing your Depends shit stoppers.

  20. Oh gotcha! I misunderstood. Can't wait to see it and find out more!

  22. NOT DAM! This thing is so bad ass cool.....What a score for a Kansas Hot Rod as we just did not have many 3 windows running around there back in the day. Hell he even got an extra shell and grill. I don't see any frame laying around so it would be nice if he could score a nice original to put under it.
Things dreams are made of, you are one lucky guy. I am sure "big deuce" on here about craped his pants when he seen this! Stay in touch with him as you build this as I am sure he will be very helpful to you. Not a better scrounger of 32 parts than that guy.

Yes "Big Deuce" is a pretty good resource. Bought his dash to replace this Homemade job. 20180620_160038.jpeg

An original frame from Rex Rogers is the plan...

I'll trade you my 33 5W coupe, complete roller, for it.

Plans are as traditional as possible & get it goin.
Rex Rogers @ The Forge Loveland Co original 32 Frame, 4in drop OkieJoe, Winters Champ Banjo.
No chop ( this decade anyway).
Keeping all original 3w floor. Original firewall.
No fenders, original tank on back where Henry put it.
60's SBC, 3 pedals,T5... most places I'd like to go are 100+miles at 85mph, I have a great deal of respect for flatheads & bangers, but I've driven my share & want to move up in reliable repairable reasonable HP.
    Full Hood.
I'm not a big paint, show car guy. I live on dirt & don't have a California car duster. So black on black on black, keeping a lot of character (patina) & try to drive it hard without regrets.
