A vintage and normal version of a great car and person (Jim Worthington) I got to ride with for a little while on the cruise the day before Jalopyrama.

  10. Did you mention Jim Worthington and normal in the same sentence?:D;)........Just messin' with you. We all love Jim and all of his many cars...........Don.:)

  14. ^^^^Ronnie Thorpe, another life-long hot-rodder and all-around great guy.^^^

  15. Ron's five window is like the big brother for my roadster highboy. We were parked together before the Friday cruise.

Coming soon both roadsters are having changes made to them. Nothing major from pic's in PM I sent . The blue one just cosmetic stuff wheels, headlights bumpers off. the black one new coat of black Lacquer, interior, wheels.

  27. Dan , as usual your shots are on point.
Your location & car positioning are always really flattering to the cars you photograph!
I would like to ask a tech question.
Do you have to use photoshop very much, you know, to eliminate shadows or other background junk?

Thanks @BLUSHU. In answer to your question, I do use it quite a bit. The photo of the tan 40 right before your post had part of another '40 removed and also some reflections, plus some color and contrast improvement. The picture of the '57 Chevy and '39 Ford gassers had a bunch of handicap parking signs remove. I often remove the entry tag if I can do it cleanly.

  29. One more question.
Do you pre-arrange your photoshoots or do you just approach the owners?
I've noticed you do a lot of the big shows.
Even though I am a long way away, your photos make it seem like I'm there.
Keep up the incredibly good work.
    Thanks for your answers.
