I know...sideways. An exercise in trying to fool the brain, if just for a second, by using color and shape out of context, to overlook the gravitational incorrectness.

C'mon, not even a split second?

    Hello,

The Speed Sport Modified Roadster has been around for many years. The first time my brother and I saw it was in the pits & racing at Riverside Raceway in 1959 and a few months later, we saw it again, rolling over almost everyone at the Bakersfield Smokers March Meet in 1960.

    Speed Sport total

It has been a favorite of mine since that time. In 1965, I drew a quick sketch of what I thought that modified roadster looked like 6 years earlier.

Since that time, I have seen the roadster in plenty of photos over the years. I thought one of the photos from those Nitro Revival events was very cool. The image stood out as one for the history books.

The orange 1950 Ford Coupe is owned by the Drag Race/Nitro Revival/Cacklefest promoter, Steve Gibbs of So Cal. The orange Ford can be seen all over the So Cal hot rod events. From the earliest hours of doughnut runs to the big name 600 car gatherings, it is one cruising, hot rod. Nice !!!

the image of the roadster with the 53-Chevy dash is awesome. What an excellent choice using one of the most beautiful dash panels ever. Way cool roadster all around. Thanx!! hmmm, looking at that image again, that may be a full size Chevy.

Tequila, puts images of Pee Wee Herman dancing on the bar from the iconic movie. 2nd Chance has great art images for sale, all hand painted, many on these 12" red traffic signal lens. He accepts your own article like hub caps etc. to paint on if you wish to send it to him. Be Art Smart, buy from the people in the sport.

This quilt was up for auction at Jalopyrama. Next time someone (you know who) complains about all those darn t-shirts you have, show her this! Will you do this for me? Thanks, Dear. IMG_1820.JPG

Redecorated the room in purple, the wife helped making the quilt and the chair cushion. I refurbished the chair (repainted, adding the purple highlights in place of the gold) and striped the reading light. Hope they belong!
