Or did the town fathers gather up all the books and burn them?

Just for perspective a 2 incher takes a 1 1/2” Allen wrench.

One of many in my collection but the cool thing about this book is...
On pages 46-47 it has my T back when Tman still owned it. Taken at Sturgis.
Third pic is as it sits now in Oklahoma. 20190510_200708.jpeg 20190510_200637.jpeg FB_IMG_1546108972719.jpeg

Where did this thread end up? Have major plans come September to seriously down size from shop to library. Like serious library. 40 years Auto Mobile Quarterly, many if not all books in this thread. Posters, paintings, stuff and more stuff, 60 years of stuff.
If any interest, chat me up.

Just picked this one up out of a buddy's garage sale. From 1969, full of cool vintage drag racing pictures.

I really love the early books that you can learn from and teach you. Like books from Page are amazing mechanical instruction books but also does brush on performance and helps you think outside the box image.jpg image.jpg

How to fix up old cars. I read that as a freshman in 1970. Hard to believe that a 40 Ford was only 30 years old then! A 30 year old car today would be a 1990! I've got an '89 and a '51. My other cars are millenials; 1996 models.

I am so excited. I ordered The Book of Gow from the Rodders Journal website the other night when they were having their sale and got 40% off :)
