Thanks all for the toughts and prayers. Im doing a little better i think. They might cut half of my meds on friday. If this happens i will be a lot more mobile, and maybe even be able to do a little work. This nonproductive lifestyle sucks!

  5. Just take it easy and take care of yourself, the shop can wait until you are well and back on your feet.

You are in my thoughts and daily prayers. HRP

Some of us on the hamb have been sharing our hotrod world for many years. This crap that i have stepped in has allowed me to see that many of you are truely my friends, even though we have never really met.

I don't know if the shop can wait. I'm hopeless if I can't go to the 'shed' even if one leg is half hanging off, both arms are in a sling and my eyes are 'twentieth century eyes', pointing in opposite directions. Even sitting on a bar stool or chair in the 'shed', planning and dreaming is therapy.

  9. Well, that's GOOD news. Now it's a slow healing exercise. Just stay positive, and remember every day that folks you don't know personally have you in their thoughts and prayers.

Thanks again guys. Prayers worked, im feeling just a little tired, probably from the heart valve. The endocriosis is definatly on the run and for that i am grateful. In a month they are gonna cut me open and swap some valves , after that i should be good for a few more years.

Gonna get a 3 angle cut and hardened seats? :)

Best wishes, your cars are tits and watching the builds is inspiring.

  14. Hey Jim,
Something special happens when we as people get sidelined from life and society. It takes you from being in the middle of being in the middle looking around and puts you out towards the edges looking in. Things do look different from that vantage point. Certainly can get you a clearer picture of the battle field and the big picture.

    Jim,

It is so good to see your posts brother! I will admit that you had me worried...

You have been in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be. Hang in there and give a shout if you need to vent, or visit, or whatever.

I hope you have a great Easter!

Its been alittle rough. Easter has been great. The docs cut my iv regiment down to 1 time a day, which makes me feel a lot better. So i am a happy guy. Helped my kid on his 50 ford 6 to 12 colt conversion. Its good to be in a shop.

Positive mental outlook is a key in recovery along with a desire to return to “normal”.
Patience as well as there will be good days and bad ones ahead.

Don't worry too hard man, heart stuff is pretty routine these days, those docs know their stuff, good vibes to you, from a guy who has been on the heart road once already. I got faith in you.
