I went to SMS Auto Fabrics today to try and match the fabric that was in the car when I bought it. The place was amazing! Every car fabric you can think of, they have. Hi Louis, the bottom angled area fits into a groove in the subrail angle, I attached the top with one tube rivet, and the two screws that hold the door strap hold the bottom. I'll put up a picture of the tube rivet I got at Ace hardware.
Should be a sheetmetal channel welded to the subfloor extention… couple screws and dished upholstery washers screw into holes in the A pillar... kick panel sits into the channel and gets secured by the screws... my $0.02.... pix if needed.
Ah, that makes sense. One of the problems with not starting with an original body is I don’t have a guide to where stuff goes. —louis

I too frequent snyders… there is a hand drawn pic of almost every part, with a part description or application following the pic... they have gotten a part, taken it to a different building to compare the bead on patch panels... they called me back to say I was right and they were not the same... bought them anyway...
I like the light mounting idea. Also noticed you welded a gusset in on the shock mount, good idea as well.

Ok guys, I took the first and second drive today. The car drove extremely well, it only needs a slight front brake adjustment and the steering wheel centered and she'll be good to go. I had a GoPro set up in the car for the first drive, but the mount I made was way to shaky and the video is pretty much unusable. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did.
