Nope, did not know him, sorry.

I did look up Marshall Lieb, (Wikipedia) one of the original members of the Teddy Bears. The Teddy Bears big hit, "To know, know, know him, is to love, love, love him, and I do...". #1 song in the nation for awhile. Marshall went on to become a singer and record producer, apparently had a good carrer, became a collector or Ferraris and was part of the Ferrari Club. He passed away in 2002, in Northridge, CA at the age of 63. 63 seems to be way too soon to leave this planet, but it did not say how he died...

  2. To me it looks like it's in the Sierras somewhere, perhaps in the Lake Tahoe area...[/QUOTE]
When I looked at the shot, it reminded me of where I grew up in central BC. To my mind, it could be anywhere in the mountains of western North America.

  14. Not sure if it did but according to a few sources this was Ray Salvatori's DBR2.

Bob Arrigo's '26 T coupe. I'm pretty sure he was a teenager when he started to build this car but this photo is a later iteration. He originally fabricated a tube A arm, torsion bar IFS with a rack & pinion and the car was painted a metallic root beer brown, it ran front fenders, had a 6-71 blown SBC with his own stainless headers tucked in tight to the engine, and spindle mount Torque Thrusts. Seen here with a tube axle, side steering and headlight mounts on the frame the fenders were eliminated by this time. I bet @Bill Rinaldi knows a lot about this one.

  16. Here is a link to a drive on Highway 97, from the border, Osoyoos, north to Vernon. There are other drives in this link, but it shows how similar the road and the scenery is to the picture that was posted.

This was like a time machine for me. I loved driving that highway. I was reading in the comments, that the drive can be slowed down by:
"but they can be viewed at a slower pace by clicking on the video options icon in the lower right screen of the video on YouTube"
It worked! I slowed it down to .25 by selecting the gear wheel on the lower rh side, then selecting "speed", then selecting .25. It worked perfectly.
