Finding a lot of Kat Hair on inside both sides quarter panels above wheel wells. Maybe it was converted to a pickup in the 30’s and rodded later. Anyway i know roadsters are a bit different. But how much? Is the let’s say back half of a 30’ roadster Any differ than a 30’ coupe? From deck lid back let start there. The new quarter panels out there look so nice. Just trying to save this thing. Thanks

  3. depends on the desired result
I wouldn't spend a bunch of money to paint on top of that
the inner wheelhouse is not a hard part to replace
had a friend do the roadster lower qtrs on a 32 coupe
    looked great
I would probably remove all the filler and see how bad things are
I have found a lot of good metal hiding behind skunky body work
coupes and roadsters share the same decklid
but I think the coupe qtr is taller (not 100%)
could definitely see a graft being done between the 2

Coupe and sport coupe are different than the roadster...
the raised reveal along both trunk edges... one body's reveal is wider than the other... both taper down...
the deck, below deck and rear fenders are the same...
…. IMO... if building a hotrod, go for it...

These wider than stock wheelhouses with 1/2 reveal were not very hard to make for this 33
I bet the A would be a little easier You could build them to resemble a roadster or maybe with the 32 roadster flare

Someone put panels over the original wheel wells. I can see the bottom of the wheel wells from the inside and seem to. E mostly intact. That’s a good sign.
