Nope it was raining, like it has been all winter and early spring, and always on the weekends, go figure....

Enjoyed the Ranch Wagon today, weather was finally warm, the sun was shining, the windows were down and a l.ot of thumbs up.

It's been a long winter but the weather here is starting to feel like spring. HRP

 

Yep - took the grands for their first ride in the new ride .....

Noel where was your coffee run. I was at Greg's one at Lakeside Shopping centre this morning but you must have been somewhere else? Was that Manly foreshore?

Went to regular coffee run this morning with the Riviera. Didn't take a photo down there so here is one in the garage.

Kasia Drove it from Buffalo to Rochester then to famous Watkins Glen International and did a few laps on the track. Stayed up with a few of the other cars there that were 50 years newer... She did very good in turns and could open it up on front straight. 330 mile round trip

Took the Grocery Getter this morning to re-stock the fridge , nice warm morning with 2 more Sierra storms on the way

 

Cool and rainy here, yesterday too. It was supposed to be warm and sunny today, but ...

It's too early here to expect stellar weather but I was hoping. Maybe a cruise tomorrow afternoon if I can sneak away from the shop.

 

Yes I did. Yesterday (Saturday) went to a small car show. Today drove to church and then met the grandkids for a picnic in the park. Ron......

Took Mom out for breakfast this morning in the new pony.... Don't think she was amused one bit about the car...

Yep, short run to North Myrtle Beach. Ready for Jalopyrama. Snowman

 

Change oil & filter took a quick drive and put some fresh gas in the tank. Ready for a little lunch run on Tuesday.

So the sun did come out, and things did dry up and round about time for supper I went for a cruise. I'm feeling better about today now ... and while I was waiting for the good weather to come I actually got a start on cleaning up the garage.

We took the green '29 Tudor on a 2,500 mile journey last week from home to the other end of the other Island and back....involved 2 x 4hr Ferry crossings too. Went to the world famous BEACH HOP at Whangamata in the North Island of New Zealand. Annmarie drove most of the way as it's her car, rained heavy at one stage, a few windscreen leaks,but that's not uncommon on my Model A's It's the end of Autumn here and temps averaged about 17deg C.
we were lucky at the 5 day event as most of the rain came at night time.

 

I took my first ride of the year yesterday, about 5 minutes out the clouds gave way...oh well, I'm wet now - drove around another hour or so. Actually a great way to start the year, now I have to clean her up.

Sunday was a nice spring day here in Ontario, took the Meteor on an ice cream run. New tide looks great Tom T. Got to like the engine choice
