I actually was thinking about my Hotrod when I saw it...

My period is 62ish but I think about the last owner who changed them out may have seen that vintage pic...

Not sure but that to me is Hotrodding in its infancy...That is the highest res of that pic available...being a bit of a Jalopy I suspect you are absolutely correct.

...Hamber @trbomax's 28 Chevy Hotrod/Showrod which is I believe his Avatar...well he chose a slightly different approach and he was a quite innovative Teen to boot...He hasn't been on in quite some time...Hope he still has his health...

    Quoted from post below...

"Here are some pics of what I believe is a '46 front suspension that I used under my 28. I say "believe" because these pics are from 1960 ,I was only 17 when I did all this,so its a little foggy! It did drive great,I used a saginaw PS box on it. The rear is a 3 arm 58 chevy axle, and it too served well. Its still under the car and when I start the re-build in 3 weeks,I am leaveing the chassis configuration the way it was."

Tpr. Harry A. Hansen is concerned about the safety of the driver of this unique propeller-driven vehicle built in Paris, MO, in 1945.
