Wow, that's a great looking convertible sedan, factory? Same as the ute and flower car that I posted earlier in this thread, there wouldn't be too many of them around these days!

Sedalia-40.jpg @southpaw-customs will have to advise on who this one belonged to, but it sure was slick.

And @southpaw-customs showed up with his low lid '40 pickup.

Well, once more the HAMB subscription notification feature dropped out on me back over a month ago. So this post can serve the dual purpose of getting me (hopefully) back into the notifications. and reporting getting my '40 out of my son's garage for it's first drive since last Sept. or Oct. Been there because his OT Mustang is still squatting in my shop in the '40's spot:(.Unhooked the Battery Tender Plus, reconnected the +cable quick disconnect, turned ignition switch on, allowed a few seconds for the electric fuel pump to refill the Holley 600, hit the starter and it turned over and fired in less than a full revolution:)
Drove it around for awhile till I had pulled gas level down to less than a quarter tank on the gauge, enjoying it all the more. Then added the Sta-Bil 360* and filled with 93 octane 10% ethanol as per usual , cleaned it up from the pollen that seems to get everywhere in the Spring here in GA and took it to the local cruise in Sat.
Next Sat. am, a trusted friend will drive it and I'll drive my 31"A" Hiboy roadster in the annual Reynolds, GA Strawberry Festival kickoff parade, and then it's out to the Silver Dollar Raceway for the Run What Ya Brung event.
