    I'd like to see the sid of this one... I know guys did a lot but this looks like the back half of a teardrop trailer...:rolleyes:

    Could be a Sheriff's Posse Search and Rescue team, looks like Sheriff stars on the doors. Back in the late 60's I remember reading about them in Hot Rod and other magazines that featured off road vehicles. A lot of them were volunteers and used their own 4WD's. Most of these look to have the same paint job so those may be official vehicles. Also might possibly be Reservation Police as they have their own police departments. Or not.

  18. I used to live near the tracks, where there the main tool shed for the road crew was located. They used to let me ride on the 4 man hand car. I was also able to mooch rides on the steam engines and any of the Diesels that did the heavier work during apple season. That was quite an experience for a kid.
