Yes. Decided with wife's approval and participation to build a sports car. Did it in 1994-5. Tube spine chassis, Lt-1 L-99 motor, six speed, 9" 4 bar/panhard rear, coil overs, dressed in aluminum body, Halibrand, knock offs, her leather interior.
Dressed as a period race car for the show. It's a throwback.
Fun to build, fun to drive.
    Thanks for asking.

Well, moving along with the plug and play '32 Ford five window highboy....tires Continental, wheels WheelSmith, lots of Magnum pieces...front axle assembly with Wilwood disc brakes, Winters V8 rear with Wilwood disc...just fitting all the goodies for fit, form, and function. Together and apart to message some pieces. Nothing drastic.
Next...set body on to check for calamities...hope none or few at best IMG_20190216_161940164.jpeg IMG_20190216_161806163.jpeg IMG_20190216_160109702.jpeg

No change in color. Reveals will go wheel color. Need to see in person. Pictures don't do justice. Triangulated rear with rocker coil overs.

Thanks for your answer... i know colors are difficult and screens not the same calibration.
I learned to keep colors in their own row to fit nice together... finaly it must suit your taste and sometimes some combinations work, that nobody could imagine ;-)) . The Ardune heads are cool stuff. What steering will you fit ? Vega or F-1, F-100 ? I am about to replace my original with a workedover F-100 .

FWIW... as much as I love highboys, lowboys, chopped tops, and tough looking hotrods, your project would look great with black or dark green fenders and unchopped (or slight chop) and same color like in the original pic. The current stance looksgood... keep the fenders, dare to be different, just this one last time! :)

Any way you go will look freaking awesome!

Love the cantilever rear suspension. Built a dirt late model with one in 2005. Worked great. We ran separate shocks because the motion is so small it is hard for the shock to control the movements. When on dirt we needed more shock movement with the current technology available then. Springs were on a slider. Guys look at it and don't understand why there were 600 to 800# rear springs where they ran a 200#er. Fun times.

Certainly has to do with motion ratio. Easy to calculate and set up.
I just wanted to clean up the "traditional" rear suspension.

Howdy, can adjust brightness and they can be either regular, red or green. Autometer vintage, crowned glass, beige off white faces, electric gps speedo.

First time in for the real deal Ardun after mock up with plastic heads and block. All went really well and finally delivered a great dose of anal relief. Whew....what a trip.

What kind of amperage does that alt put out? A friend stocks them but they only put out around 55 amps. That engine looks real good in there!

Engine looks very nice..... also very close to the radiator, do you plan a sort of security retainer, like a steel cord to stop the engine from crashing into the radidator ? Had that happen on my Cord 812 Sc Custombeverly , the new silenblocks where softer rubber than i have expected.... Energencey brake stop proved to be to flexible, just a thought of mine .

Yes, there will be retention cables attached to each side of the transmission then to the frame.
