I've owned 18 station wagons, and maybe 1/2 if we count my old pedalcar wagon* that my younger sister Gail is driving here. Kind of rang a bell looking at above post! Stationwagon1947Danas With Sis in it.jpg

Me, Mom and her '53 Bel Air in May '61 when I was almost a year old:

Me and the Bel Air in '65, not long before we sold it for $90 to a young guy who drove it from Chicago to Memphis without a hitch (he called from there to tell us what a great car it was!):

Finally, me and my youngest brother in August '72 sitting in an interesting T-bucket at a gas station in Glenview (anyone recognize the car? Kind of an unusual setup, if a bit O/T):

Man, look at those pants. I was a way-gone-cat! I wish I had that Hudson. I think my father traded it in on a '57 Ford hardtop that was nothing but trouble. The last one is my wife...in the middle.

The first pair is 1959. The winter picture is with my mother and older brother with my father's '59 Chevy with our neighbor's '55 in the background. The second picture has another '55 in the neighbor's driveway, but it must be owned by their relative, visiting for Easter. The RPU belonged to a life guard on Long Beach Island, NJ. That was about 1970. I1959.jpg Roadster Pick Up.jpg

  25. Sorry I'm not Greg, but I'm pretty sure it's a 1948 Hudson convertible. I like all the cool pedal car pictures. Here's me with mine. The little fire truck, that my little brother's on was really my first car. I was only one year old when I got it for Christmas and, I still have it. But my 56 pedal car was stolen from our yard, a few years after this photo was taken. Ron... 383.jpg

Here's me (third from the left), and my sisters and younger brother (first in line)...in front of Dad's "Kustom" around 1953 or '54. My Dad is the tall one in the ball cap. I remember he'd just painted his '49 Mercury and drove it home...altho it looks like White and Black in this pic, it's actually Turquoise over Black.. Shortly after this pic was shot, Dad bought a '51 Mercury convert that was Dark Blue, nosed and decked, had fender skirts and whitewalls on it and lowered. He bought it for my sis (last in line here) so she could drive it to school...unfortunately I don't have any pix of it.
