Just married and living in our first "home", Citrus Heights, CA, 1960. The '57 had the 270hp Corvette motor, dual 4's, Duntov cam and solids, 4:11 gears (had O/D). We would take it to Vacaville most Sundays and run it through the 1/4 or sometimes to the old Sac fairgrounds where they ran 1/8 mile drags. A year after this we were living in a real house, had a kid on the way and was driving a station wagon!! Those black spots were not on the car - just an old photo.
