been a long winter here in Iowa. dreary days make it tough for an old man to go out in the cold shop, start the furnace, and stand on a cold cement floor! Lots to do before I can drive my 1955 T-Bird around, not much ambish to do it right now. another month or so should be nicer weather, too cold to go to the swap meet this sunday in Lincoln, nebraska. High will be around zero!! hurry up spring!

Not gonna bitch... I can still see my mailbox from across the street...
We also have the much anticipated "pot hole and frost heave" seasons yet to come...

Saw the weatherman on the news yesterday say that it has been the coldest February since 1936. Just glad that it hadn't snowed the last two days when I had to open the garage door to get enough room to move my coupe body around.

Seems this winter has drawn on and on for some reason. Was going to get rid of my OT 2007 chevy 4 wheel drive and get a smaller two wheel drive pu. Nope not now. Lippy

I don't know how far your shop is from your house, I ran a thermostat wire from the furnace over to the house so I can turn it on a while before I go over. Phil

I moved to Wisconsin 6 years ago. I’m just about ready to move back to Southern Arizona after this winter.

Sunshine is something that I've only seen on t.v. the couple weeks. I'm so sick of the cold and dreary days. Just at the freezing point most days with the nights hitting teens.

Now we are into March with this crap.

This should make many feel better. We got 53.7" of snow the month of February. It's gone beyond our limits of understanding... Spring is a looong ways off.

About 27 years ago I make the move south and never looked back again at the day's of putting chains on my truck and plowing driveways.

On the West Coast of Florida you can live in shorts and a tee shirt for the rest of your life if that is what you want to do. Car Shows year round.
I don't mind seeing show on the weather channel as long as it is only on the TV

Its been great around here. Colder than normal, more snow than normal, but much more blue sky. If you know this area then you'll know that from Nov to April it can be very grey. And as far as cold weather goes I figure it's how I validate my Canadian passport!

South eastern NC has been decent this winter. We don't get snow very often (rarely) and the cold cold days are really not too many. Might have hit a low of 28 or so this winter so far. Todays 70 and cloudy. Now to get my ass back in the garage!

While I too am tired of winter, I think every location has it's good points and bad, such as torrid heat, swarming mosquitoes, maybe a hurricane or two on occasion. Summer in the Rockies is really nice, low humidity and lots of sunshine. I meant to say July... :)

I like the Michigan Winters. It's been cold a few days, we've had some snow but nothing too bad. I'd rather move snow that mow grass...

As HRP said, its been wet and shitty here all winter. Wettest I can ever remember. That means I've spent more time working in the shop and a lot less driving. I am ready to get out and about some! Myrtle Beach can't get here soon enough!

Ya, I hear you. We have mmmmmore snow and cold on the way.

I've been to the that Lincoln swap meet when I lived in Sioux City. I was not prepared for how cold it was going to be and froze my butt off! :)
Not sure how the swap is now but there was lots of good stuff then.
