What an honor it was today to help Lou work on his iconic roadster. Thanks to my buddy Dan (Bean Bandits) for making it all possible

I remember Bird Rock Mobile station and the write up in Hot Rod. Is this the original car or a tribute?

This is a perfect opportunity to gather some pics from Lou's former Heyday with the group...and share them here with us...;). These fellas had such a great collection of Hotrods and the influences are far reaching...thanks for sharing @jamesd1502...I take it he is still active out on the Lakes?

By the way give Lou a Big Hello from us all...he truely speaks the Gospel that is The Hamb...

As some may know, there is a cool article the 1953 Rod and Custom that describes and depicts his venture from san diego to bonneville. Oh and towing his deuce with his RPU Dbingham01.JPG

There is a fella on the Garage Journal that obviously knows Lou quite well and it mentions Lou selling the Roadster in the 60s...This is no big deal just curious...

This steers from the left side interesting albeit it's all race and the Driver sits dead center...perhaps its a normal thing...

Lou is actually a Garage Journal Member as well...

    Over to You @jamesd1502...;)

Does he have any Club photos as this is one of those special times that when you meet a Veteran of the Hobby/Sport that gift us with incredible visions and stories of the not so distant glory days...
