possibly an old mail rig or something...looks like it had tracks at one time. Model A grill shell and possibly mid 30s Chevy body...I dont know. Im relatively sure someone here will know EXACTLY what this is. E9849C62-1ACC-4245-A026-1A8AB0088F87.jpeg 22346280-EBC4-4651-A670-A06346285675.jpeg

Proof that drinking and welding are not a new phenomenon.

Wow someone was pretty creative. Probably during the War. It certainly looks like a track vehicle & I agree it was probably used for delivering mail. The front clip looks like Model A but the rear clip looks like 36 39 ford.
    Where did you find it.

Looks like something the Germans drove into Stalag 13 on Hogan's Heros!

Are you sure that truck in the background isn't an International?

Late '30s sedan body upper cowl and roof grafted to the Model A cowl is what it looks like to me. The exact origin of the body escapes me, but I don't think it is Ford. Has a Studebaker like profile but not quite enough to feel certain. Very creative rig in any case .....designed for 'Hard Times'

the ad explains the drivetrain (possibly).

But whatever it is, you need to get it out of there and get it back on the road!

The Postal service really needs vehicles that can handle snow.
