Vintage shots from days gone by!

Back in these it seemed like all of the really fast cars ran out of Bob Duffy's shop in Red bank, N.J.
Just my opinion but that is the way it was back then.

Rodger Sinistri could sure make a small block Chevrolet come alive and many of the quickest cars in those day's had his name on them.

Just my opinion but when your a teenager and every winning car has his name on it it's easy to figure out where you should be buying your engines.

For me Statesville, N.C. brings back memories of the night I spend sleeping in my truck at a rest area and when I woke up at 3:AM but I was so cold!!!!

Crazy thing is I had on all the cloths and jackets I had with me including part of a rug that was in the back of the truck and I was still freezing.
Turns out the temperature had dropped into the low 30's over night.

Funny how years later somethings just stick in your mind every time I pass through Statesville which I am sure in a beautiful place to live.

Checked out the cabin rentals years ago at Camp Sherman and stood on that bridge watching all the big trout in the Metolius River.
Nice drive through the woods, a distance from the main highway, a beautiful, serene location.
