Nice. It looks like Ford had an excellent reason to relocate the spark plugs on the SOHC. Can you imagine how much fun it would be to change plugs here with them in the lower location?

 

That thing looks nasty with the hood off. Looks to be the low performance version with the single 4 barrel.

 

They probably just moved the engine across the shop floor from the "NASCAR" dept [after being banned] to the "NHRA" dept


Does anybody recognise the driver unloading it? Would it be a young Gas Ronda by any chance??? [he would've been 38 in 1964]
