Personal favorite look for me on tri-five Chevys are Cragar SS with black wall Tires (never white letter).

 

I’m considering wire wheels with 2.5” white walls but wasn’t sure if there considered traditional custom. Luv the steelies or hubcaps/sombreros but I’m thinking like OP.
