I was raised in Mechanicsville, just east of Richmond, but got sick of winter there, so I moved to Florida this past September. Sent from my SM-G960U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Sure do! Used to live across the street from it! I used to walk over there to get parts for my 67 VW that I was building. It was probably a strange sight to see someone carrying seats, bumpers, etc. upside down across 301 into the neighborhood Sent from my SM-G960U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I lived in Motley for a short bit! Then moved to Forrest. Worked in Hurt the whole time (2 years). That was eons ago!

That means you have to live in Goochland to be in the "West end" now... West end drive doesn't cut it anymore. Sent from my SM-G960U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
We’ve only been in Charlottesville for six months, but we can certainly see evidence of sprawl. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Have to tell you, I am building a house and shop (shop finish) in a place called Lively, VA. Really not much out there except for water (Chesapeake Bay) and corn fields but the roads are all built like a landing strip at JFK. Not many hot rods out here but time will tell.
I am familiar with that area. I had a house in Reedville for a number of years and you are correct, not a lot of hot rods around.
