    The two-tone makes it.

(That parking brake's a little crude for a nice Buick.)

A truly odd little car. It's shape does not like to be tampered with.

  4. IMG_3712.JPG If anyone has time I would like to see the '50 Buick grill on my '47 Ford, before I go to far with the idea. Thanks in advance.

I dunno', I kinda' like the '60s vibe it has going on. Maybe a wheel swap would seal the deal.

I'm thinking that if the bumper/grille were moved up about 2 inches, and the Ford parking lights eliminated and parking lights were put in the Buick bumper guards, it would be quite attractive and unique (or not?).

  19. @James D Reminds me of Patrick Van der Stricht's "Car-i-Cature" illustrations in the Kanter catalogs.

This body Mopar has the nice roof slope that the others lack, but I always thought the roofs seem disporportionately long. Here's my version with a chop, slanted B pillars and a bunch of roof length eliminated. Involves sinking the trunklid between the rear fenders.

I did this one awhile ago, George Cerny style.
I lowered the car and chopped the top just enough to improve the flow by angling the fastback 2°. I lengthened the rear fenders to cover the odd intersection at the trunk. Door handles shaved, slight hood for the headlights. The side trim is borrowed from the ’55 Plymouth Belvedere with a dark blue beneath to break up the slab sides.
