I'm fairly sure it is a Chisatalia, but I've obly seen Roadsters & Fastback Coupes. There were fiberglass bodies made from them in the early 1950's. I found these three black & white photos on a Google search. LOTS of great photos of restored ones, well worth a cup of coffee and the time to view them. Bob

I was trying to find pictures of that make, I didn't spell Cisitalia correctly either. Robert Peterson of Hot Rod magazine owned one and his employee, Bill Burke popped a mold off it reportedly at Barris's shop and he produced about 35 cars under the Allied Fiberglass name. I remember seeing pictures at Bonneville of his first car. His brochure showed a roadster with a flathead motor.

Any way closer, but still not the car we're looking for. As a side note a famous hot rodder also put a flathead engine in the make of car we're looking for. It was a V8 60 and was recently restored.

Edit, that didn't do the pictures correctly. Click the thumbnail to see Bill Burkes car.
