Larry Walker's potent blown '57, "Legal Cheater" at Riverside Raceway. Note use of what appears to be a '58 hood in this picture.

Most would look at it and see a parts car. I see a young persons entry into this hobby! Especially if they wanted to make it a jr stocker tribute.

We were all so happy turning 13 or 14 seconds.. When the factory's got into it that ruined it..

I could never understand how Larry could run that '58 hood but someone thought it was ok-also who raced Iron Horse II?

I am not sure who raced Iron Horse 2
Yesterday I was talking with Buck Wheatley and I think he will be calling me today so I will ask him because I am sure he knows who drove the car.
Buck is full of Junior Stock history and has a good memory from the 60's

A slightly later picture of Dave Kempton (from the Winternationals) showing support from Doug and Art along with some more achievements listed on the rear quarter panel.

This thread is at the top of my list to check every day. For all who have posted THANK YOU! Here are some from my meager files. All of the following photos were taken at Thunder Valley Dragway outside of Marion SD or at Cornhusker Raceway south of Omaha in the late 60's early 70's. I have seen some of these cars on this thread, but hopefully these are different shots. Enjoy! TVDCH100.jpg TVDCH116.JPG
