    I was asking about 1940's conversions of a 1930-era sedan. Similar to a marmon-harrington.

    Thread disappeared. Was this intentional?

I have seen MANY other similar topics, for example Dust-bowl era pick-up conversions, etc.

LoL, on the main page, there is literally a post about a lifted, oversized tired, T-bird - supposedly a vintage creation. My post was exactly along those lines, asking about period-correct 4wd conversions of a traditional sedan for use a as a delivery vehicle or the like.

My post didnt specifically break any rules other than an arbitrary “if we dont like it, we’ll delete it” post. My post was in the correct section- just apparently not a “preferred” post. I also searched and didnt find anything.

So, like i said, whatev’s. And yes, merry christmas.

  5. I don't get anything 'traditional hot rod' about a 4x4 anything.
Traditional hot rod is an early race car (lakes) or race car inspired, not 4x4, wrecker truck, COE, ambulance etc.
That's my reading of it anyway.
