True Moose thats why I've chosen it, it looks plain black in crap light and vibrant purple in the sunlight, in other words always looks the part...........thanks for doing that...really appreciate it and all you do on here. Oh! and if James D is reading this I haven't forgot about the Austin Somerset. I'll get to it sometime in the near future....

 

Not sure how hard this would be but could I see my roadster with a top? Not sure if it needs chopped more to look right.

There's a reason most stock roadster tops are "V'd" back to the top upper corner in the side view. One like you show may leave at illegal speeds. I know.

 

This is such a great thread! So cool to see all the different cars.

Okay, one more. Can you do the body color like this light green car leaving the fenders and grill surround black? Also replace just the front wheels with TQ's or maybe Cragar SS?

Your Fairlane is vary similar to the first car I had a ride in back in 58. My foĺks had it until 61 when it was traded for a new 61 Falcon two door wagon.

 

How about this one in a "gasser" / street freak style? Thinking about raising it up a bit, may or may not straight ax it, TQ's, Slotted aluminum, or similar wheels. Black sides and heavy flake blue top.

 

Those are real interesting stories, I actually get a couple every now and then that I go to local shows and cruise nights, the car was assembled in Dallas, maybe it could be? Who knows haha

Wow, that really transforms the car! Definitely going to change my wheels now. I think adding door handles, outside mirrors, maybe cowl lights, rubber running bd covers, and maybe door hinges if possible will complete the look. I like the green and black but think going with a darker OD green in satin would look better. Thanks for your work!

 

Holly crap, that is so cool! That is my plan for this car now. Think I'd be more inclined to go gloss black on sides or maybe dark blue but man, that looks good. Great job with the slotted wheels and the fender well headers too. Thanks!
