If the running gear matches the wheels, I would say its on a 88 up full size GM truck 4x4 frame and maybe fuel injection and all???
However those wheels would fit the original panel truck but they seem to be sticking out too far for that and truck looks to be sitting up a bit too

There was a place like that in Priest River, Idaho, where an old yard was shoved over the bank. It’s all cleaned up, now.

  12. Took a quick trip out my favorite yard with my son this morning. Here's a few shots. LOTS more stuff in this yard but it was a tad chilly and windy so we didn't stay long. 20181229_102525.jpg 20181229_102605.jpg 20181229_104225.jpg 20181229_105340.jpg 20181229_110155.jpg 20181229_111223.jpg 20181229_125341.jpg

What is the car behind the W2OE sign in post 14388? Cool grill, roof looks like maybe a Kaiser.

Holy damnit, I like the Kaiser but that mountain of clusters and steering wheels is pretty tantalizing too! If the price was right, I think I'd take a whole truckload of loose stuff home out of there.

  17. X2 on the Merc in HUBNUT's post 14390; that just can't left there. That '37 Dodge grille needs rescuing also.

  18. Bleach, if that's a 2 door Kaiser in your post, it is a rare bird- most were 4 door!

  19. Looking through some old pics and found another out in northern Nevada. It had a Fisher body tag, 3 window coupe without much wood in the doors and stuff like I'd expect in a Chevy? How long will it take to ID?

  21. That was my first impression, just couldn't find a match for it, and the "Body by Fisher" tag made me think it needed to be one of the GM lines? Was Fisher doing other production lines in the 1920's?

Fisher made bodies for just about every automobile manufacturer into the 1920's. Now, I am just guessing somewhat on the Dodge, but it has the holes for the hood to cowl lacing that are identical to 1922. @31Dodger will know for sure if it is or isn't.

  23. Hamb rule: Any pre '35 body that cannot be identified in 30 minutes or less shall be a Dodge! :D:eek:

  24. I guess it's a Dodge then. Happy New Year everybody!

  27. Dodge did have some bodies made by Fisher in the 20's- noboD has a beautiful example of one :D!

  28. The body is not a Dodge Brothers body. Budd or Dodge made the Dodge Brothers bodies. Fisher body made some early Chrysler bodies, but not DB bodies.
