Must have had some big "Pull" to get those plates or it was just for the photo.

I have this shot of it ..this picture was in a article called the lowdown on lowering ...April 1958 Rod&Custom " Little Pages " the only picture of the car that I have ever seen until the previous post...Kool Studebaker...

The first attached shot looks like Gary Bettenhausen winning the 1972 midget race at the Houston Astrodome. Brother Tony Jr. is standing behind the car.

The next photo is Terre Haute in (I think) 1968. Don Brown is on the inside and that might be Wib Spaulding on the outside although I'm not sure about that.

At the Astrodome we sprayed the track down with Coke A Cola SYRUP to make the track tackey so they could race. It made a sticker track but a mess to clean up.
