IMG_0090.JPG It would have to be the original grain chute, or the Calypso Coral wheels, or the Big Job Mercury hood spears, the running boards above the rear fenders, or the ambulance tail lights, or the sun flower seeds on the running boards. Could even be something on the other side!

  5. It's above the hump, but sideways under the dash, so the throttle cable goes in on the far left of the cowl instead of near the distributor like normal. It's been working great for 11 yrs now, the pedal and arms would have to be about 4 inches tall total to work in the standard location. No pictures,
but something I’ve not seen on other cars, (although I am sure it’s been done), and I insist on is, when widening rear wheels I always widen them inwards, so that when you look down the side of the car, the hubcaps stick out the same, front and back !
Bugs me when I see them widened outwards with the hubcaps recessed.

Yes painting the name on your car is a great signature. I have usually done it with my license plates which in this case kind of represent my build. Gene Winfield did sign my dash a couple years ago.

My Hurst shift ball. People ask what chewed on it. A dog I answer. Odd look usually arrives next:) I was in a shop a while back and a tech asked me what I still needing for my ‘64 GTO. I said a Muncie and Hurst shifter. He said his brother in law had a Hurst shifter in his garage but his dog had chewed on it. I said I’ll take it. When he went to get it a Muncie was still attached. He wanted $300 for all of it and offered to throw the white ball away since it was ruined. I couldn’t get the cash out of pocket fast enough. Trans, shifter and chewed up ball still working fine 1500 miles later! Randy

My 52 Merc flathead, draws attention and looks everywhere I take it. Older folks are always explaining to the younger ones what a flathead is. IMG_20180620_184658.jpg

Not sure if I triggered the comment but have to reply anyway.
Wheels on the 32 have 15"reversed rims, (I think they were Customline) on cut down '34 centres. Zero offset, as per originals. Was a truck load of work..
See you at Duece Days NZ.

    Gary,
That’s just my point, looking at the photo you posted,I didn’t notice your wheels had been modified, which shows how subtle it is.
I actually thought that they were ‘35 rims, and thought that’s how I like to see them, looking the same.
    Clemens.

The Super Tricks good or bad are the thing that stick out the most, in my head, and would be more your signature than the grille or the flames to me.
