It doesn't say whether Santa is a Ford or Chevy guy.

For 51, which would look better with a 5 inch chop?

This is a tremendous album, especially if you're a Christmas music person. My kids and I have been trying to memorize the lyrics to "Hey Skinny Santa". Killer!

    Hello,
There are tons of Christmas tree lots all over So Cal. Some growers have made cutting down trees, a tradition with new growth trees growing in suburbia. If a family cannot go to the mountains to cut down a tree…(which is illegal by the way,) then, the next best thing to cutting down a tree is to go to one of the local tree farms. They have been growing trees for years and rotate which ones are ready for the big sacrifice, this time of the year.

Here is an old Ford truck decked out ready to deliver pre-cut trees from the local tree farm to your front door. No need to scratch your custom paint job by putting the tree on top of the wagon or sedan. STRAIGHT FROM THE CHRISTMAS TREE LOT … “A GREAT BIG SLED.”

For the longest time together, we have different Christmas traditions and displays every year. From dead trees to real living ones in containers to artificial ones to artificial ones with lights, etc. They all played a part over the years. One year, we planted a living Christmas Pine Tree in our front yard among the other older pines, after Christmas morning. It was fun and our son was happy we kept the living pine tree in the yard. He was going to take care of “his” tree and decorate it the following year.

The following year, about a three weeks before Christmas morning, I heard an idling motor in the early A.M. in front of our house…When I got to the front door, the motor/car started to accelerate away. Standing in the driveway, I noticed something was not right. That was not the newspaper delivery guy. The Christmas tree was missing, cut down and only a stump was left. Our son was sad, but he said that he hoped that “our tree will make another kid, happy.” The next day at the local nursery, he chose another potted, “living tree” for our annual indoor display.

P.S. “Santa’s Got a Mean Machine” has great lyrics, but for us, not our cup of tea. My wife has her Ipod set up with all sorts of Christmas songs from traditional to the Killers. (Motown, Smoky Robinson…It’s Christmas Time and A Great Big Sled are a couple of favorites.)
