  3. Well, if you are looking to donate it to a good home...I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands! :). I have lots of wall space in the barn.

Not a "sign" but a banner if I may. My Grandfather retired from Detroit Diesel ,also my uncle was employed there after his tour in Vietnam. Not sure who this belonged to, but on a visit to my great grandparents old home In Southeast Oklahoma I discovered this banner. As a professional flooring installer myself curiosity got to me and I started pulling back old layers of vinyl/linoleum flooring in the kitchen to take look at the different styles ( there had to be a dozen layers or more) and discoverd this banner several layers deep folded up used to fill a small void in the old floor. I know its not hot rod material but its special to me none the less as all the aforementioned family members are no longer with us. Included a pic I just took over the Thanksgiving holiday of the house still standing. Hope yall dont mind me sharing this here. 20181212_081544.jpeg 20181117_170306.jpeg

So glad I'm not alone. Some of these pictures are poor, I'm justifying this to myself as it would be good to have pictures saved off-site in case I ever had a fire or tornado or something for insurance.

The Drop Shop sign is a Conoco gas sign painted over but I kinda like it. I think it was a mini-truck shop in the late 80's or 90's.

This thing was chopped in half to make a stove pipe insulator, luckily the two halves overlapped nicely.

    20181227_174329.jpg
This was cut off of a door skin in the junkyard, in the before pic I've already been working on it a bit, none of the red was even visible. It cleaned up really good. The Altona is a supper club.

The Cockshutt sign was a two sided dealer thing and it took both halves just to make it readable. It's super wasted junk but I had to save it just because. This is as good as I could get it.

This is the "before", just a corner nub of each half.

  20. I want to thank Mark for graciously spending his time and talent in making this great sign for me. Guys like Mark are the reason that HAMB is such a great place to be a part of and the reason I enjoy so much trying to help our members by trying bring their visions and concepts to life using Photoshop whenever I get the chance. I just wanted to show everyone Marks creation where it is now being proudly displayed on my shop wall....Thanks again Mark!!!!!

  21. Moose, glad you like it! It was a pleasure doing the sign for a guy that does so much for others. You are correct, the HAMB is full of good people. I have made great friends from all over the world due to this site. Happy New Year to all of the HAMB family. ct.

This sign was new old stock. Sold it to my buddy after I added the "Motion Performance Logo" that he wanted painted on. kendall.jpg

This was found in Independence, Ohio. I believe it’s from Canfield Oil co. Rough but I like it.

Scored this one recently, the Guns/Powder is 2 sided. The fireworks sign was painted by my mother in law for her fireworks stand many years ago. 20190105_200306.jpeg 20190105_200214.jpeg

My brother & I found this plastic one that was a little bit in a state if disrepair. It took a little doing , but we stabilized it nicely & have framed it out. We're going to put lights along the inside of the frame & I'll post a pic of that when we're done.
