The front fenders and grille installed. As you can see, the airride is still holding air.

Mounted the dashboard, installed the clocks and hooked up the wiring in them. I just need Willem to finish the complete electrical system installation, so we can see the clocks light up.

With everything that has been happening are you still flying commercial planes for any airline? :)

Real nice steering wheel, banjo's are the bomb. Good size to still have your eyes on the road....even with the rear hanging and scraping the the dutch asphalt.

The doors have been painted. I will pick them up this week and install them. Only the deck lid and some smaller parts to go and then everything will be shiny black.

There is good progress on the electrical system. I started mounting the headlight buckets and trim. Things are moving along!

  14. Still following along, great progress. The paint is outstanding. The overall theme is spot on.
I had a '40 plymouth business coupe years ago, your project certainly makes me regret selling it.

Looking great, Eric! Are you going to install all the SS grill pieces?

Thank you for the compliments Car!

Thanks Rock! I'll only be using the "heart shape" trim and the two long vertical pieces in the centre. None of the small horizontal trim will be used.

YES! The first electrical things are coming alive! Spending quite some time on the wiring harness all becomes worth while now.
