I'm looking at a lot of work ( and LOUVERS!) to call those "beaters". Not Pebble Beach material, but I'd put them in my garage, no problem!!

  7. My 29, It has a 6'' chop. Here are two simple things you can do if you like heavy chops. I have one of those cheap mirrors with a handle, I keep it on the floor. Just in case I need it at a traffic light. The other is a soft pillow. It keeps you low and comfortable. My old coupe is in need of some new primmer, so these are older shots. The Rat Fink pillow is my new seat. Next I need to go to Walmart for some flat black spray bombs. lol Ron... 336.jpg 137.jpg 072.jpg

Posted a while back when my car was in primer. Here it is mostly finished. Both cars have a solid 4" out of the tops.

Great thread. Another article here on the HAMB by guys that have done it, helping out newbies like myself. I have a 31 model A laid out for a 5" chop.
    Thanks
