This is part of the aftermath at the Union Station in Kansas City, MO. In what was referred to as the "Kansas City Massacre" there was an attempt to break out an underworld guy named Frank Nash by Pretty Boy Floyd and others. The end result was two Kansas City police officers, Frank Nash, and two federal agents dead. June 17, 1933.

I googled this image and got this: “Travelcade of Progress” bus parade through downtown Berkeley on the corner of Shattuck Ave. and University Ave. See Transit Times Volume 3, Number 9 to learn more about these ceremonies celebrating the new buses. (1960)

Must have been quite a "cosmopolitan" area judging by the number of small import cars around.

Here's another from the same site: (It's a bus company)

Started as a factory T-Bolt, ended up a nitro match racer funny car.
