Event Coverage Friday night at Daytona

Went to the night show across from the Speedway on Friday. Plenty of parking. Looks like it will be an excellent new venue now that the Bel Aire plaza is out.

It's is behind the Bass Pro Shop directly across from the Speedway. The main entrance has tall flags and is called something with a ONE in it...maybe someone else knows. I got there just going behind the Pro shop. I imagine they have it every night of the Turkey Rod Run. This pic shows the Speedway in the background.

We went to theDaytona 1 car show on Fri. And Sat. Night. Was ok. Big parking lot and the traffic in and out was not to bad.

 

This is nice . All four tires look the same size.

 

I heard that the shopping center was behind closing it. I'm sure lots of people didn't know and went anyway. I didn't go so would like to hear more about what that location and any others around town were like.

 

On Friday night we did go to Dimitri's on A1A just north of Bellair Plaza that had advertised a show. They had a large crowd but parking was limited, so that's when we headed to 1 Daytona. I think 1 Daytona is going to be the place, lots of parking ,well lighted , places to eat etc.
