Technical SBC 327 Oil Galley Plug Under Drivers Side Head

Remove the oil pressure switch and adapt an air line fitting to the block. Connect compressed air to it whilst any activity is being performed in the gallery opening. A lot of air will bleed out elsewhere but providing that some is exhausting from this opening there will be very little chance that debris will enter the gallery. Reprime the oil system prior to start-up.
