    I'm sharing this one again.
My grandparents, grandpa in the plaid jacket by the front fender, grandma in the helmet in the driver's seat.
Grandpa passed away a while ago, Grammy joined him last night. We miss them both.

It could be both. Before they discouraged feeding the animals bears would cross the roads like this in national parks. And in some areas of the northwest and northeast the would cross the roads like this, I( have seen bear cross the road now in my neighborhood and once coming home from Lebanon Valley drag strip.

"Blue Flame" was officially only the name of a particular high compression version of Chevrolet's 1937-1963 overhead-valve inline-six engine.

    Hi Gary
    we like your posts
as we live in Australia we like to be part of this site
sadly not many American cars came downunder in the vintage days
so for us to post a vintage shot from days gone by it may only show non American cars
my 1929 restored Chev looks American but was made here by GM Holden
hope Ryan can see our point

These color pictures that Life magazine took at the Tarrytown, NY final assembly plant surface here once in a while. These particular pictures are from the unloading dock where they’re pulling engines, fresh from Flint, off the boxcars. The 235 Blue Flame sixes were, well, Flame Blue. Or some kinda blue.

    Clarifying here fellas...

Please DO NOT post foreign cars here.

I’m fine with pics that have a foreign cars in it, but only as part of a bigger pic. Meaning... a ‘55 ford racing some weird Aussie sedan is fine. Two weird Aussie sedans racing and no 55 ford is not fine.

That’s just an example. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks and sorry for any confusion.

Nice batch of Volksrods - used to get a lot of ink in Rod & Custom in the mid-to-late sixties; kinda forgotten now.
    Anyone here have/had one?
