love the image of my pal 2nd chance with his grandchildren gathered around the kitchen table drawing. The rat fink is by Carly the older girl with the beautiful curly hair, 10 minute to finish, way to go Grampa!

I posted this else wheres on the HAMB, but it is art. It's Sunday morning, it's below 30 degrees, and a firesuit is the perfect thing to keep you warm while waiting for Patrols to get into place and the timing tower up and running.

  7. Ed, I still have your sketch of my delivery on my Fridge. Lol. Another oldie I've tried to finish up. I started this as a sketch for a friend in 1969. He had a 58 Delray. I took the idea from Roths Rebel Chevy. 20181116_054014.jpeg

Way to go Gary. Art time with the grandkids (or kids) is priceless. I do the same with mine. As a former art teacher I can tell you, that experience will last a life time.

Thanks, Latigo.....I wanted to be an art teacher but my guidance councilor guided me in another direction. My granddaughter would rather draw or paint and visit at the kitchen table than sit and watch T.V. That makes me feel good. Gary

IMG_1604.JPG Now that it's turning colder here on the high desert I'll be spending more time at the painting table. Took a trip to the Hot Rod Hillclimb this fall and shot photos for new paintings. This old truck was spotted in Colorado.

You are very lucky to share this time with grandchildren. They will remember this project activity and you will cherish this forever.

Kind of reminds me of old times. We raised five children in this house. Now it's full of grandkids. Here is another picture from last night. Actually it's a good sized room, but it doesn't take long to fill it up. Thanks for letting me do some reminiscing. Gary p.s. Cheetos are mandatory. art night-1.jpeg

  22. Rockin show this week everyone. Here's the second in the series of my H.A.M.B. Hot Wheels set. You might want to collect the whole set of these. Have you seen what vintage Hot Wheels are going for these days? Just think of what these could be worth 50 years from now (ha ha) !!!!

32 three window high boy that’s part of a potential branding project. Lots of Rolling Bones/salt flat influence here! HotRod-03 2.jpg HotRod-04 2.jpg
