Projects It’s always the other guy

  1. Great score x2 on your new cars. Both look very nice and will make perfect period hot rods with bolt-on mods. No need to go crazy with irreversible modifications.

  2. Just to be clear, the Tudor was acquired about 8 years ago. The coupe is new. Seems some people thought they were both recent.

The law of attraction seems to work like this: if you have one deuce you will find another magically...with that in mind I spent a hundo on the worst most mangled deuce grille shell it was all I could afford.....it hasn't worked yet :-(

I'm sure glad to see these treasures still popping up from time to time. It gives the rest of us hope.

I've had this luck with 36's, but yet to be the guy lucky enough to have this happen with a 32. Congrats on some great cars!

  10. Good for you and good luck with both cars .... keep us posted....

That one I would have to just drive to some events as it appears now just to have that ear to ear grin. Especially if the Sedan is already a rod. Well maybe some 16's and a reverse eye spring just for visual fun.

Great car, great plan. Beats the pile of shrapnel and scraps I hope to stitch together.

Well, that's a lazy susan full of shit sandwiches for us that have scoured farms for years. All kidding aside, very happy that you ended up with it, and thank you for sharing!

That is a new level of HAMB finds, change the oil, add gas and register it. Bob

  22. Did that. Now working on the stance. [IMG][IMG]. Reversing the eyes first. Hope to not need the dropped axle.

Totally envy you, but still congratulate you on your good fortune. Agree with you that this one is too nice to do any major alterations.

  27. I didn't think artillery wheels would be an improvement . . . until I saw the photo with them on. You've not only got a couple of great deuces, you have an eye in your mind for just the right touch. I can't wait to see the slight rake with the reversed spring eyes.

  28. Ready to go back in.

  29. Nice find. But nobody questioned the fact that you had a wanted ad that didn’t end up being a scammer ! Tell us the WTB ad was here on the HAMB. Maybe the aaca.org right?

It looks great so far also!
