Kool, thanks guys! That what I have to put on it! I think it looks good. The Cragars that are on it are too wide and are unilug. Never cared for unilugs.
So I’m going to put the Torque Thrust on! Agin thanks.
. Madfish you guys amaze me how you can do stuff like that!

Looks better than I thought it would but thats partly Mooses talent, Nothing to me but I probably wouldnt do it.
I would continue the search and spend some money on wheels or scrounge up some appropriate period looking steel wheels and or caps. just my .02 tho, your car;)

I took a stab at it, although someone else could probably do a cleaner job. Not a super deep chop, but I shortened up the quarter window instead of stretching out the roof and tried to reshape the hump in the roof to flow with the trunk lid. It's OK, although it looks like an awfully nice car to chop up.

If this isnt the car you bought, I would go for this look, if it is I wouldnt touch it.
I like it, that silver looks good on it,the visor and rake looks killer already too, to me:cool:

It is the car I bought, I haven't had a chance to many pictures yet so I grabbed a couple from the sales ad. I love the look right now, and the car rides pretty good; it has a MII front end and R&P steering. I've always lusted over a chopped 40's custom Chevy but I think this one might just be left alone.... We'll see how I feel in the spring

Pretty good stab, I'd say! You nailed it; I was afraid the transition from the top to the trunk would end up looking bubbled up but it flows right into it . I'm not sure what to do yet, I do really love the car as is.
Thanks for your effort Squablow, I appreciate it!

I like it,, we had one in our area, in Tacoma actually still there, chopped and black,
W/O the visor I think it would SURE look smoother ,IMO, (probably get enuff $$$$$$ for visor in LA for chop )

This chop is only about 1.5 inch. The champagne pearl two-tone shows it off in a subtle way.

Wow, that looks great! I might just use that color combo even if I leave it alone height-wise (which is how I'm leaning right now)
Thank you for taking the time to do that!

Agreed, it just doesn't look right without the visor.

Lol, ya had to go and put the skirts on it didn't ya! That looks fantastic, especially with the whitewalls.
The guys at breakfast this morning have me convinced to not chop it, it is just too nice and solid. Now I'm off to search out a set of skirts for it! Thanks everybody, ya'll are some great folks!

IMG_2446a.jpg IMG_2446a - Copy_edited-3.jpg I thought it was too nice to chop as well but I already started cutting before I saw your post.
2" chop, new paint, tires, Cadillac hub caps and mild tint on the windows...
