my brother has two of these "Spartan Manor" trailers on his property. he doesn't know it yet but I am going to move into one when I retire.
GREAT pics, JJ... Just like bein' there! Sac show was and still is one of the 'heavy hitters', I remember when the Northern Calif roadster guys would put their cars in the Sac show, then prep for Oakland. Funny story about Northern CA. car shows and their 'politics': The famous Anderegg roadster (AMBR, 1955) was entered in the Modesto car show by Ray's younger brother, Ray was in the Air Force. The car finished 'second' in Street Roadster, because it had RECAPPED TIRES! Ray talked to his bro on the phone, said "Want to put it in the Oakland Roadster Show anyway? It's pre-registered..." Friend Frank Dutra went with, they prepped it for the show, just cleaned it up nicely. The roadster with the recaps tied Blackie for the AMBR winner. Only time ever that there was a tie. Funny, huh?
That is the Autorama, which held in February - this was the Auto Show that is for displaying new cars/trucks - pics that I posted are of rides displayed within parts of the Auto Show - sorry if I caused any misunderstanding
