Hot Rods Olds head exchange

    Will Olds 23 heads bolt on a 324 block and if so what head gasket ?

    I don't have time right this moment to go find the first huge Olds Rocket thread on here started by "Rocket Daemon", That will tell. I know the old racer that I got a lot of stuff from, ran 57-58 371 heads on his 324 back in the late 50s early 60s.

    It will bolt on but it won"t work.

    the first big areas that will cause issue will be
    valves hitting cylinder walls,
    and push rod angles (lifter spacing)
    and push rods guide hole alignment.
