Taking advantage of the nice weather to let her get nice and warm and make sure everything is happy. She goes for out of province inspection on Wednesday. Can’t lie I’m definitely nervous to drive it for the first time. Not the actual driving just making sure everything is working proper etc. I’ve had it running several times now and up to temp so I think I’m fine.

Thanks man. Should be pretty uneventful as I’ve chatted with the guy a couple times leading up to this. Mechanically she’s all new anyways so unless there’s some stupid little rule I’m not aware of she should pass with flying colours

Could you post a profile pic of your coupe ?
I want to see where the exhaust goes under the chassis. I know you love showing it off

Thanks, you did a nice job of following the angle of the headers, looks great

Sounds about like my plan for inspection. Same thing, all new so I'm hoping for the best. I've been talking to them out here too.
We have one place all the guys go and they're really good with what's needed and what's not.

If your weather is anything like ours this week in Alberta you should be able to get some miles on her.
We are up into double digits on the plus side this week and not a trace of snow left. Yahoo !

thanks, ya that's what i wanted. prefer that look over the standard straight down shot you see from a lot of the other header manufacturers. This just flows much nicer.

Very nice job, the interior is awesome. Simple but so well done. Hope everything works out and winter sucks.

Look at all you posting away as I’ve been solving my brake failure! Turns out the retainer clip on the MC pushrod broke so the push rod jammed into the bore of the MC piston causing my brakes to not work. It literally happened as I was slowly rolling onto the weigh scales so had no speed and was flat. Push rod has been fixed and rod adjusted so it can’t happen again. Just got everything put back together tonight so will try and maybe do the inspection next week weather permitting. I fully expected some issues to pop up as that’s how it is with any build but I definitely didn’t expect a brake failure. I’ve always been super careful with brake work and never cut any corners or bought cheap junk. This was just a stupid inexpensive part that failed that coulda cost me a whole lot more.

  28. Glad this occurred when you weren’t at speed & there wasn’t any other damage!

Ya you and me both. I’ve had a throttle stick on a car before but never a brake fail. Pretty helpless feeling. Someone was smiling down on me for where it happened! Could have been much worse
